Ingredients

  • 6 ice cubes
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 banana
  • 3 leaves kale, large stems discarded, leaves chopped
  • ¼ cup flax seed meal
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh turmeric root
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • ¼ teaspoon stevia
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ⅓ teaspoon ground black pepper

Cooking Directions

  1. Blend ice cubes, almond milk, banana, kale, flax seed meal, ginger, turmeric root, almond butter, stevia powder, cayenne pepper, and ground black pepper together in a blender until smooth.
Substitute peach, mango, or other fruit for banana, if desired; Substitute honey for stevia, if desired.
