Drink Recipe ⊶ Rose Hip Iced Tea

Rose hips make a refreshingly delicious iced tea and are naturally high in vitamin C and antioxidants. You can use dried rose hips as stated here, or simply use four rose hip tea bags in place of the 4 tablespoons rose hips.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tablespoons dried rosehips
  • 1 tablespoon sugar, or to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Add rosehips to boiling water, cover, reduce heat, 8and simmer gently for about 8 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in sugar until dissolved. Leave covered to steep for 10 minutes.
  3. Strain tea through a fine sieve. Cool to room temperature, then transfer to the fridge to chill.
Skip the sugar and instead add 250ml cranberry juice or pomegranate juice to the rose hips tea mix
