Spiced Coffee Protein Smoothie

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups ice, or more to taste
  • 1 cup chilled brewed coffee
  • 1 ½ scoops vanilla protein powder
  • 1 ½ cups unsweetened vanilla-flavored almond milk, or more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon molasses
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, or more to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger

Cooking Directions

  1. Whisk Greek yogurt and whipping cream with an electric mixer until you have a thick whipped cream consistency.
  2. Put all smoothie ingredients into a blender in the following order: 2 cups ice, chilled coffee, protein powder, 1 1/2 cups almond milk, molasses, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, ginger. Blend until well mixed; you can adjust the consistency by either adding more ice or more almond milk.
  3. Pour smoothie into 2 glasses, top with whipped topping, and sprinkle with cinnamon.
I prefer to put the whipped topping into a piping bag and pipe it on the smoothies because it looks pretty, but that's up to you!
