Ingredients

  • 4 cups hot black tea
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 4 tablespoons raw sugar, or more to taste
  • 1 large apple - peeled, cored and quartered

Cooking Directions

  1. Pour tea into large wide-rimmed cups or 1-pint soup bowls, filling them about half full. Dilute with freshly boiled water to a golden color; add 1 tablespoon sugar per cup.
  2. Place an apple quarter in each cup. Stir and serve immediately.
You can use caster sugar instead of raw. Use more sugar if your apple isn't very sweet.
